BETA LIVE! - FULL RELEASE SOON - RECOVERING FROM HOSPITAL

First and foremost - Sorry! I set multiple deadlines and unfortunately was unable to hit them. Rest assured it was for nothing less than a life threatening injury and a death in the family. My time in the hospital encompassed two surgeries and a week of time. I am now out and recovering on IV antibiotics at home. I had a neuro-stim removed from my spine but am now getting better. I had a chance to plan out the next phases in depth but was unable to be on the computer to finalize Star Kinesis and keep everyone up to speed. And for that as well, I apologize. I made a video going over these topics but rest assured I’m still here and still moving forward. Just please be patient, life has not been easy since DCC, even with the support of many, the “game making” side of this doesn’t move forward if I’m out of commission. Thank you for your time, patience and wishes. Everything helps.

WHAT IS PLANNED?:

Star Kinesis is completed! Currently major bugs are being ironed out and testing is taking place, and additional assets are being populated. The alpha will be available shortly! Check out the section and videos below to learn more!

Currently working on the cinematics for the Veterans Universe and integrating the storyline within Star Kinesis, Stay tuned!

STAR KINESIS UPDATE (7/17/17):

Break for surgery, but back at it!-
Cinematic focus, outlining the Veterans Universe and how we got there from today.

Recently I have implemented several large and small changes to SK. The current list:
Fixed many multiplayer issues, now consistantly working with up to 8 players in game.
Fixed tutorial system, Basic information now narrated and popped up for new players. Refined many game functions that were overbearing.
Adjusted ui effects to reduce visual impacts on PC.
completed windows and UI auto callapse features
Fixed SFX issues of overlapping
module assignment and type issues fixed
Fixed skybox quality and design
Particle ship animations in the system overview
Damage relay system optimization
Base carrier asset score/salvage score outputs
Base current carrier stat outputs
AMS system fixes
Multiple flare system fixes
Cap particle animation fixes
Engine cover animation fixes
Play realtime stat readout
Buff icon system completion
LBAY small ship fixes
Main/Sec objective buttons added
Play camera movement speed dramatically increased
Asset score fixes added(incomplete)
Mod deaths now applied to armor models if skipped
AI self defeating system to avoid hangups added
HP bar fixes added to include damage input/output


ANY EVENTS PLANNED?:

Not Currently planning anything, just focused on getting everything finished! Cinematics, story, bug fixes and ease of understanding are the current focuses. If you consider release an event then I guess August 4th is important!


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO AFTER SK?:

That is a long answer that will be addressed throughout this site, but to sum it up: Expand SK with more options, upgrades, factions and story. Then to Vol. II. We will create additional games that share statistics, gameplay objectives, and multiplayer experiences with vastly different game types and genres (the framework for this is already planned and created). So rest assured, it will be done...


ARE YOU DOING THIS ALL YOURSELF?:

Majority of the game was made by me, but fellow veterans, Dave N. Drew B. and shaun B., have helped in the background in their own way, my wife, 2 little girls have been infinitely patient and tremendously helpful. With the release of this title, and with the exception of a sizable portion going to AW2, it's all going back into the company to expand. Employ staff to maybe advertise, and another to keep the site up to speed, asset creators and many more. This would greatly increase the speed of putting out great content. We have high goals, always have... It just took a lot longer seeing 1 person created everything with only the support of one other. But with extra hands-on support, it won't be 5 months for 1 person to make a game... it will be shorter. This is a goal I will not give up and I will punch my way through any barriers. We are veterans, Army veterans, and we don't give up, we don't fold, we don't walk away, we accomplish our missions. The only thing that will stop us is if people genuinely dislike everything we make, and believe me we will always take the opinions of our playerbase into consideration above all. Your game is our game.


WHAT DO WE HAVE?:

Currently Sol System-Humanity's Exploration of the Universe is an educational children's app that we are retaining as it is in the same vein of what our universe is focused on.

 
 

VETERAN-UNIVERSE BRIEF OVERVIEW:



Approximately 150 years in the future humanity is on the precipice of demise... The start of the divide was when the governments of the world were manipulated to empowering companies and the agendas of the largest corporations. Over the years the people became fed up with this type of governing and several civil wars emerged to forcefully evict lobbyists and corporate agendas from those positions entrusted to care for the populations of the Earth. This conflict created a wave of animosity that forced corporations to explore survival off Earth. Companies like Space-X had already started creating colonies on mars with no ill-intention. These templates were taken through corporate espionage by some of the larger, more focused organizations and began expanding outwards. The moon housed one of the first corporate colonies. With the advent of asteroid mining the revenue allowed the expansion to dozens of planets and moons within our system. In the wake of the destruction the UN created an arm, the space fleet, or UNSF. This pushed the corporations further from Earth, evicting the lunar colonies. As the tension subsided between companies and the UN their influence on Earth leveled out.
